[Franklin, MI] Rahma Worldwide strongly condemns the reported shooting incident at Temple Israel in West Bloomfield. Violence targeting any house of worship is an attack on the fundamental values of faith, human dignity, and peaceful coexistence. No place where people gather to worship should ever be the site of fear or violence. Currently, as authorities continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident, we urge the public and media to rely on verified information and avoid speculation until all facts are confirmed. Our faith traditions teach the sanctity of human life and the responsibility to protect places where God is remembered. The Qur’an reminds us that preserving life is among the highest moral obligations. Rahma Worldwide prays for the safety and well-being of all those present today and expresses solidarity with the Jewish community and all communities of faith. Moments like these remind us that protecting one another and standing together against hatred and violence is a shared responsibility. We remain committed to promoting compassion, dignity, and mutual respect among all people and all faith communities.
