In an emergency, the right knowledge can become a skill that saves a life.
As part of the activities at Rahma Summer Camp in Homs, more than 15 boys and girls took part in a hands-on first aid training session held in partnership with the Red Crescent.
Over two and a half hours, participants learned how to respond to emergencies, including fainting, how to access essential emergency contacts, and how to provide basic first aid for wounds, fractures, and other injuries, including proper bandaging techniques.
Through activities like this, Rahma Worldwide creates learning experiences that go beyond recreation, equipping children and young people with practical knowledge, confidence, and the awareness they need to respond when it matters most.
Because some lessons are measured not by what we learn, but by what we can do when someone needs our help.

في لحظة طارئة، قد تتحول المعرفة إلى مهارة تنقذ حياة.
ضمن أنشطة نادي رحمة الصيفي في حمص، شارك أكثر من 15 طالبًا وطالبة في لقاء تدريبي حول الإسعافات الأولية، نُفذ بالتعاون مع الهلال الأحمر على مدى ساعتين ونصف.
تعرّف الطلاب خلال اللقاء على كيفية التعامل مع حالات الإغماء والحالات الإسعافية، وأهم أرقام التواصل في حالات الطوارئ، إلى جانب التدريب العملي على تضميد الجروح، ولفّ الشاش، والتعامل الأولي مع الكسور.
ويأتي هذا النشاط ضمن جهود رحمة حول العالم في تقديم تجارب تعليمية تتجاوز حدود الترفيه، وتمنح الأطفال والشباب معرفةً عملية تعزز وعيهم وثقتهم وقدرتهم على التصرف في المواقف الطارئة.
لأن بعض الدروس لا تُقاس بما نتعلمه فقط… بل بما نستطيع فعله عندما يحتاجنا الآخرون.
