Lasting progress doesn't begin with rebuilding buildings; it begins with rebuilding minds.

At the Directorate of Culture in Latakia, Syria, Dr. Shadi Zaza, President of Rahma Worldwide, delivered a lecture titled"Community Awareness Is Not a Luxury, It Is Essential to Lasting Peace."

The lecture explored a simple yet powerful idea: sustainable progress begins with informed, engaged communities. When awareness grows, dialogue deepens, resilience strengthens, and the foundations for lasting peace become stronger.

More than a lecture, it was a call to place people at the center of change, to foster a culture of dialogue, encourage shared responsibility, and transform awareness into meaningful action that creates lasting impact.

Because peace is not simply a destination to reach. It is a culture we choose to build, through awareness, strengthened by action, and sustained by people who believe that meaningful change begins with themselves.

من مديرية الثقافة في اللاذقية – سوريا، قدّم الدكتور شادي ظاظا، رئيس منظمة رحمة حول العالم، محاضرة بعنوان: "الوعي المجتمعي ليس رفاهية، بل شرطٌ أساسي لأي سلامٍ حقيقي ومستدام"، مؤكدًا أن الوعي يشكّل الركيزة التي تنطلق منها التنمية، ويترسخ بها السلام، وتستعيد المجتمعات من خلالها قدرتها على التعافي وصناعة المستقبل.

لم تكن المحاضرة مجرد طرحٍ فكري، بل رؤيةٌ تدعو إلى وضع الإنسان في صميم عملية التغيير، وترسيخ ثقافة الحوار، وتحويل المعرفة إلى مسؤولية، والوعي إلى قوةٍ دافعة تُترجم إلى أثرٍ مجتمعي مستدام.

فالسلام ليس وجهةً نصل إليها، بل ثقافةٌ تُبنى بالوعي، وتتجذّر بالممارسة، وتترسخ حين يصبح الإنسان شريكًا واعيًا في صناعة التغيير.
