200 Orphans Come Together for Iftar & a Moment of Joy

In the city of Homs, where memories still carry so much pain, a moment unfolded today that is truly worth telling.

200 orphaned children gathered around one table, not only to share a meal for iftar, but to feel that they are not alone, and that there are those who extend to them a hand of mercy and compassion.

In collaboration with the Red Crescent and at Khalid bin Al-Walid Association, an iftar gathering was organized by our team at Rahma Worldwide. The table was filled with a variety of delicious foods, followed by moments of joy with sweets that brought smiles to the children’s faces smiles that resemble life when it begins again.

في مدينة حمص حيث ما زالت الذكريات تحمل الكثير من الألم، كان هناك اليوم ما يستحق أن يُروى.

200 طفل يتيم اجتمعوا حول مائدة واحدة ليس فقط ليتناولوا طعام الإفطار، بل ليشعروا بأنهم ليسوا وحدهم، وأن هناك من يمدّ لهم يد الرحمة والمحبة.

بالتعاون مع الهلال الأحمر، وفي جمعية خالد بن الوليد، نظّم فريق رحمة حول العالم إفطارًا جماعيًا، امتلأت فيه المائدة بما لذّ وطاب، وتبِعته لحظات من الفرح مع الحلوى التي رسمت البسمة على وجوه الأطفال بسمة تشبه الحياة حين تعود من جديد.
