Urgent Needs Review For Yemen’s School Complex

In Mayfa’a District, Hadhramaut, Rahma Worldwide visited an educational complex that serves more than 2,000 students across three schools:

• Mayfa’a Boys’ Secondary School (210 students)

• 26 September Boys’ School (950 students)

• Balqees Girls’ Complex (850 students)

Despite the dedication of teachers, the learning environment urgently needs restoration—classrooms lacking essential structures, long daily commutes for students, and facilities that no longer support safe, effective education.

في مديرية ميفع/محافظة حضرموت، زارت رحمة حول العالم مجمّعًا تعليميًا يخدم أكثر من 2,000 طالب وطالبة في ثلاث مدارس:

• ثانوية ميفع للبنين (210 طلاب)

• مدرسة 26 سبتمبر للبنين (950 طالبًا)

• مجمع بلقيس للبنات (850 طالبة)

ورغم جهود المعلّمين، تعاني المدارس من بيئة تعليمية تحتاج إلى ترميم عاجل—صفوف تفتقر إلى الأساسيات، ومسافات يومية طويلة يقطعها الطلاب، ومرافق لم تعد قادرة على توفير تعليم آمن وفعّال.
