Despite the limited availability of medical and emergency supplies in Gaza, our medical team has continued to deliver exceptional care. Two orthopedic surgery teams collaborated to perform external fixation on two open fractures —in the foot and the hand— during a single session, reducing anesthesia time due to the operating room’s shortage of anesthetics. This coordination enabled us to complete both procedures simultaneously and ensure the patient’s stability and safety.
