Extends a Helping Hand from Houston to Gaza

The specter of famine looms over the Gaza Strip, with hungry children, women living in camps lacking the most basic necessities of life, amid the ongoing war. In an effort to support them, the Houston, Texas community organized a communal Iftar to provide support to our people in Gaza and to our doctors who left their families to treat hundreds of wounded in Gaza. We had the honor of participating in this special event, expressing our gratitude to the organizing body for its diligent efforts that contributed to the success of this fundraising Iftar for our people. We also extend our heartfelt thanks to the Houston community for its support of constructive projects. Let’s be their support in the month of mercy and giving, and make Ramadan a turning point in the lives of the people of Gaza.
