Integrating for Recovery

Recently, a year has passed since the disastrous earthquake hit Syria, Rahma’s team in Syria participated in an event organized by the Supreme Council for Disaster Management and Emergency Response in Azaz and other local councils. The event aimed to review the response to the disaster and honor the entities that contributed to providing assistance to the affected. During the event, our team showcased its response to the disaster, as we have provided emergency relief aid including food, medical supplies, winter necessities, as well as shelter and rehabilitation services. The team also participated in a panel discussion on the lessons learned from the earthquake disaster and the importance of collaboration among various entities in responding to natural disasters.

خلال الفترة الماضية بمناسبة الذكرى السنوية الأولى لكارثة الزلزال في سورية، شارك فريق رحمة في سوريا في فعالية نظمها المجلس الأعلى لإدارة الكوارث والطوارئ في اعزاز ومجموعة من المجالس المحلية.
هدفت الفعالية إلى استعراض مسار الاستجابة للكارثة وتكريم الجهات التي ساهمت في تقديم المساعدة للمتضررين.
خلال الفعالية عرض فريقنا مسار استجابته للكارثة، حيث قدمنا خلال هذه الفترة مساعدات إغاثية عاجلة تضمنت مواد غذائية وطبية ومستلزمات شتوية، بالإضافة إلى خدمات الإيواء وإعادة التأهيل.
كما شارك الفريق في جلسة نقاشية حول الدروس المستفادة من كارثة الزلزال وأهمية التعاون بين مختلف الجهات للاستجابة للكوارث الطبيعية.
