The Third Medical Mission: Heroes on the Ground

In a televised interview with Al Jazeera, Dr. Mohammed Al-Far, head of the third medical mission of the Rahma Worldwide Society, discussed the health condition of journalist Ismail Abu Omar after undergoing surgery by the team on the ground. He called on the world to work on strengthening the medical response in Gaza. The interview highlighted the challenges facing the health system in Gaza. Hospitals in the Strip suffer from a severe shortage of medicines and medical supplies, a shortage of specialized medical staff, and a deteriorating infrastructure.
