Severe Burn Survivor Nathir Receives Life-Saving Support

Nathir, a young man from Rural Damascus, Douma, faced the most difficult moments of his life after a serious fire accident caused by a fuel tank explosion at his workplace. The explosion resulted in fourth-degree burns covering 95% of his body, and his chances of survival were extremely low. But by the grace of God, he survived and began a new journey of resilience and hope.

With the support of JIGSAW, Rahma Worldwide provided comprehensive humanitarian assistance to Nathir. This included food supplies, medications, and medical materials, and equipping his room with an air conditioner, bed, tablet, refrigerator, solar panels, and a lithium battery to create a suitable environment for recovery.

Two functional reconstructive surgeries were also sponsored to release contractures in his left shoulder and elbows, helping restore mobility and improve his quality of life.

نذير شاب من ريف دمشق – دوما، واجه أصعب لحظات حياته بعد حادث حريق خطير بسبب انفجار خزان وقود في مكان عمله، مما تسبب بحروق من الدرجة الرابعة بنسبة 95%، وكانت فرص نجاته ضعيفة جداً. لكن بفضل الله نجى، وبدأت رحلة جديدة من الصمود والأمل.

بدعم من منظمة JIGSAW، قامت منظمة رحمة حول العالم بتقديم المساعدة الإنسانية المتكاملة لنذير، شملت توفير المواد الغذائية، الأدوية والمواد الطبية، وتجهيز غرفته بمكيف، سرير، تابلت ، براد طعام، ألواح طاقة شمسية وبطارية ليثيوم، لتأمين بيئة مناسبة للتعافي.

كما تم كفالة عمليتين تجميليتين وظيفيتين لفك الانكماش في الكتف الأيسر والمرفقين، لتعيد له القدرة على الحركة وتحسّن جودة حياته.
