Rahma Worldwide Celebrates Women’s Day

Rahma Worldwide is recognizing International Women’s Day 2021 #ChooseToChallenge. This theme is an indicator of the changes we (as women) strive to achieve in order to create a more diverse and empathetic environment for all. To be challenged is power and when in power we make the change. Today we celebrate the social, economic, cultural, and political achievements of women while highlighting the problems they face in day-to-day life as well as in the professional environment. Women are not just asking to call to action for accelerating gender parity, women are commanding it #ChooseToChange. During the Covid-19 pandemic, women are challenged and put their lives on the front line fighting to survive and manage family life. We salute every woman who’s helping the fight against coronavirus. International Women’s Day has been celebrated for over a century. However, many people think of it as a feminist cause, when in fact its roots lie in the labor movement. International Women’s Day is the day, we pay tribute on March 8th of every year, is earmarked to celebrate womanhood, and recognize their achievements without regard to divisions, national, ethnic, linguistic, cultural, economic, or political. It is a day to acknowledge and make people aware of women’s rights and gender equality, parity, and call to action for accelerating women’s equality. #ChooseToChange
