The United Nations Food Programme (UNFP) voiced its concerns over the Yemenis’ dire situation. The problem has been attributed to the surging fuel & food prices. In addition, the depreciating value of their currency is pushing Yemenis into extreme poverty. But with your help and generous contribution, some people may receive proper food and heat.

Increasing fuel prices
The Yemeni Riyal dropped to 1,200 against the US dollar this year. Before the crisis started, this value was at 215 Yemeni Riyals.
Poverty & Hunger
Yemenis find it difficult to make ends meet since all essential products have been unaffordable. They succumb to harmful coping mechanisms to even afford a single piece of bread.
The UNHCR pointed out that at least ten children begged or engaged in child labour to provide for their families.
An increase in fuel prices also hinders social groups from delivering aid to the people, especially in backward regions.
Yemenis need your support!
The 7-year old crisis put the country into deep turmoil. It has resulted in huge displacements and losses of lives. Around 20 million Yemenis need assistance to afford essential services. Rahma Worldwide is doing its best it can to ensure nobody goes unattended.
