Her steps were hesitant, and her eyes lost among words she could not hear.
Shahd, a little girl from Aleppo, Syria, who suffered from hearing impairment, was slowly slipping away from childhood, losing her right to learn and belong. But thanks to your generosity, and to hearts that never give up, her smile returned… and so did the sound.
Rahma Worldwide responded to Shahd’s case and provided her with medical hearing aids that reopened the world to her. Today, Shahd hears her mother calling her, and giggles when her classmates call her name at school. Today, a new future began for a girl who always deserved to be heard by life.

كانت خطواتها خجولة، ونظراتها تائهة وسط الكلمات التي لا تصل إليها.
الطفلة شهد من حلب - سوريا، التي عانت من ضعف السمع، كانت تنسحب بصمت من عالم الطفولة، وتفقد حقها في التعلم والاندماج. لكن بفضل عطائكم وبفضل قلوب لا تعرف المستحيل، عادت الابتسامة... وعاد الصوت.
فريق رحمة حول العالم استجاب لحالة شهد، ووفر لها السماعات الطبية التي فتحت لها أبواب العالم من جديد. اليوم، تسمع شهد صوت أمها تناديها، وتضحك عندما يناديها أصدقاؤها في المدرسة. اليوم، بدأ مستقبل جديد لطفلة كانت تستحق أن تُنصت لها الحياة.
