Khawla… a little girl who knew nothing of life but displacement and deprivation.
Since birth, she has lived with her family in the Ibad Al-Rahman camp near Afrin, Aleppo, after being displaced by war from rural Maaret Al-Numan more than seven years ago.
In her early years, Khawla suffered a high fever that caused hearing loss, plunging her into a silence unworthy of a child’s laughter or a life meant to be full of sound and joy.
But that silence did not go unheard. Rahma Worldwide responded to her case, and thanks to your donations, she received medical hearing aids that brought back a sense of life... and the warmth of childhood.

خولة… طفلة لم تعرف من الحياة سوى النزوح والحرمان. منذ ولادتها، تعيش مع عائلتها في مخيم عباد الرحمن قرب عفرين - حلب، بعد أن هجّرتهم الحرب من ريف معرة النعمان قبل أكثر من سبع سنوات.
في سنواتها الأولى، أصيبت خولة بحرارة شديدة أفقدتها السمع، لتدخل في صمتٍ لا يليق بضحكة طفلة، ولا بحياة يُفترض أن تكون مليئة بالأصوات والفرح.
لكن هذا الصمت لم يمر دون أن يُسمع. فريق رحمة حول العالم استجاب لحالتها، وبفضل تبرعاتكم، تم تأمين سماعات طبية أعادت لها شيئاً من صوت الحياة… ومن دفء الطفولة.
