In recurring and heartbreaking scenes during Eid al-Adha, our doctors in Gaza worked tirelessly to treat severe injuries — some involving the head and skull — with hunger as the underlying cause.
In this interview, one of the doctors shares what it's like to work in an environment stripped of the basic necessities of life, where every medical decision is measured in seconds, and the lack of resources makes each choice even more difficult.
