A new surgery added to our record of medical achievements. Rahma Worldwide's 21st medical delegation successfully performed a complex surgical operation on a four-month-old infant at the Friends of the Patient Hospital in northern Gaza.
The child was suffering from a severe obstruction in the left urethra, which caused a critical enlargement of the left kidney, threatening his life.
Thanks to the expertise of the medical team, led by Dr. Amer Al-Hamwi, a pediatric surgery specialist, and Dr. Zaid Al-Kilani, they successfully performed a delicate operation to redirect the left ureter to the abdominal wall as a preliminary step to save the damaged kidney. Another surgery will follow to reimplant the ureter into the bladder after the kidney recovers.
All gratitude and appreciation go to the doctors and nurses who worked with skill and dedication to save this little life. You are the hope that shines through the darkness of suffering in Gaza.

عملية جديدة تُضاف إلى سجل إنجازاتنا الطبية؛ حيث نجح وفد رحمة الطبي الحادي والعشرين، بإجراء عملية جراحية معقدة لطفل رضيع يبلغ من العمر أربعة أشهر داخل مستشفى أصدقاء المريض في شمال قطاع غزة.
الطفل الذي كان يعاني من انسداد حاد في الإحليل الأيسر، مما أدى إلى تضخم خطير في الكلية اليسرى مهددا حياته. وبفضل خبرة الفريق الطبي المتمثل بالدكتور عامر الحموي، اختصاصي جراحة الأطفال، والدكتور زيد الكيلاني، تمكنوا من إجراء عملية دقيقة لتحويل الحالب الأيسر إلى جدار البطن، كمرحلة أولية لإنقاذ الكلية المتضررة.
حيث ستليها عملية أخرى لزراعة الحالب في المثانة بعد تعافي الكلية.
